2026-2031 D.A.T.E. Charter Petition Stakeholder Engagement
I. D.A.T.E.’s Mission
The mission of the DeKalb Agriculture Technology & Environment, Inc. (D.A.T.E.) is to educate a student population about the essential needs to consider environmental, agricultural, and technological ramifications to improve conditions and other business decisions; via a hands-on, community-oriented instructional curriculum. This STEAM Academy is unique in that it is the only academy in Georgia, in the Southeastern Region, and even in the USA, to have a Triple Approach to Environmental, Agricultural, and Technological Sciences for our (EAT) model of K-8 scholars.
II. Stakeholder’s Petition Engagement Objective:
To provide valuable input in the organizational, fiscal, and academic structure of the academy to ensure efficiency, innovativeness, and accountability to improve performances and outcomes.
Stakeholders at D.A.T.E. will have the opportunity to support and be involved and engaged at various levels with the revision and submission of the 2026-2031 Charter Petition.
Stakeholders Participation
