D.A.T.E. has been certified by the AdvancED (SACS-Southern Association of Colleges and Schools) as
    a
      STEM School

D.A.T.E.’s Faculty and Staff has been diligently working and preparing for this visit from the AdvancEd evaluators for two years now. In its goal to increase STEM Literacy, AdvancEd  was charged with reviewing and examining  the STEM  (11) standards and indicators through personalized, self-centered, self-directed, in-depth, and systematic enrichment instructional learning opportunities of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math that we provide to our students.

After two days of observing classrooms, reviewing hundreds of documents and artifacts, interviewing  students, parents, faculty and staff, administrators, and business partners in education; D.A.T.E. was selected and awarded as a STEM School. With this profound honor, D.A.T.E. joins the league of only 21 other schools in the nation to have this distinguished recognition by AdvancEd. Please take time to review our STEM activities on our school’s webpage. The evidence, artifacts, and indicator statements will “blow” you away!

Congratulations to the D.AT.E. family as we continue to evolve and change the world!
